Field force sales manager

We are looking for an experienced Sales Force Manager

Job scope

Lead and develop the sales organization in Georgia to achieve revenue and market share targets, drive sustainable growth, and implement country sales initiatives within approved budgets and the highest ethical and regulatory standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute country sales strategy and territory plans, optimizing resources, monitoring market trends and competitors, and driving market penetration and brand positioning, lead and implement regional sales initiatives locally.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 15 sales representatives and a Regional Manager; ensure effective application of promotional strategy, deliver training (product, selling skills, compliance), and build a high‑performance, customer‑focused culture.
  • Deliver and exceed sales targets and KPIs; analyse sales and market data, prepare forecasts and reports, and manage budgets and cost optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies); oversee sales and promotional events; collaborate with local Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory as well as HQ functions; represent the company at industry events.

 

Requirements

Experience & Background

  • 7+ years pharmaceutical market experience out of which Ideally 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales management experience
  • Direct experience in managing sales teams of 5+ representatives
  • Proven track record in Georgian pharmaceutical market with established network
  • Digital sales tools proficiency (CRM, SFE systems)
  • Previous experience with multinational pharmaceutical companies
  • Key Account Management experience with major healthcare institutions

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Medical, or Business Administration/Management
  • MBA or advanced degree is an advantage
  • Professional certifications in pharmaceutical sales or management are advantage

Language & Communication

  • Fluent English language skill, both written and verbal communication
  • Native/fluent Georgian language skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
