Business Development Manager CMO/CDMO

Egis Pharma Services is looking for a Business Development Manager CDMO/CMO for Pharma APIs. This role is based in our offices in Budapest, Hungary. In this role you will be responsible for the acquisition of new customers and CDMO projects with focus on customers from the pharmaceutical and related industries. The role involves overseeing all commercial activities for designated customers, achieving results aligned with agreed commercial KPIs and project milestones.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1.    Business Development:

  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry leaders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute strategic business plans.

2.    Project Management:

  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

3.    Financial Management:

  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to improve profitability.
  •  Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.

4.    Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure all operations comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments.

5.    Team Leadership:

  •  Manage and mentor a team of professionals.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.
     

Our requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree is preferred) in Science, Pharma and/or Business related field
  • Experience: Several years of international experience in business development, project management, or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Preferably 3+ years of pharmaceutical experience in CDMO Business Development and/or CDMO Key Account Management
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills; proficiency in financial management and regulatory compliance.
