Nihon Servier specializes in the clinical development, and commercialization of innovative oncology therapies, focusing on high unmet medical needs such as pancreatic cancer, leukemia, and brain tumors. To reinforce our learning and development (L&D) functions, we are seeking a L & D Manager who will lead both commercial and cross-functional training programs aligned with our growth strategy. This position will be instrumental in building a scalable and impactful talent development framework for all employees.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and Execution of Training Programs
- Develop and execute soft and hard skill development programs based by developing the enterprise-wide learning strategy aligned with business objectives and Group’s guidelines.
- Plan and manage onboarding programs and role-specific leadership training for all levels, including new hires and newly promoted managers. The scope of the program includes the first line managers, Product Manager, and Medical and Patient Affairs positions to liaise with the onboarding programs provided by Global Larning and Development.
- Create and lead training programs for non promotional & promotional positions focusing on oncology product knowledge and operational effectiveness.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor training effectiveness and ROI.
- Team Management and Development
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the training, including budgeting, resource allocation, and task delegation.
- Coach and mentor direct reports to enhance their capabilities and support their career development.
- Global Collaboration
- Liaise with the Group Learning & Development, Medical and Patient Affairs, and Compliance at our French headquarters. It depends on the objective of the training program.
- Localize global training content and share best practices with international teams.
- Conduct regular communication and reporting in English.
Your profile:
Must-Have
- Minimum 10 years of corporate experience in learning & development.
- Proven track record in planning and executing sales training, scientific training, and leadership development programs.
- Experience managing a team of 3 or more professionals for 5 years and longer.
- Strong execution skills with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Native Japanese, Business-level English proficiency (verbal and written) for meetings, documentation, and communication with global stakeholders.
Preferred
- Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
- Familiarity with MR certification programs or GVP/GPSP-related training.
- Previous experience collaborating with global L&D functions.
- Coaching and facilitation certifications are a plus.
