Procurement Project Manager

The Position
Within the External Manufacturing Procurement team, the position reports to the Business Operations Lead.
The position is based on a remote working organization with cross functional teams located in Europe and USA.
Occasional travelling may be required.
The External Manufacturing Procurement Project Manager will support the procurement team in various missions related to the outsourced activities for the manufacturing of Servier medicines.


Position responsibilities.

1)    Project Management: 

  • Project manager for priority projects supporting External manufacturing procurement activities. 
  • Project manager for creation and continuous improvement of Procurement Process and standards
  • Planning, Execution, Monitoring, Controlling, and Closing of projects.
  • Creation and management of all required project plans, i.e. communication, stakeholder, risk identification, escalation, Gantt charts, etc. 
  • Visual dashboards (project status, top risks/issues, heatmaps, etc.)
  • Meeting agendas, minutes, and tracking action items.
  • Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly reporting

 

2)    Reporting & Performance 

  • Coordinates procurement related data collection.
  • Creates   scorecards to report on procurement metrics/KPIs.  
  • Develops and manage mitigation plans to improve performance, as needed.
  • Prepares reports and communication to the manager and the internal stakeholders in a regular basis defined with them.

 

3)    Cross functional activities:

  • Represent Procurement in cross-functional organizations and teams that support day-to-day activities for late-stage development projects and operations for commercial products.
  • Support tasks/initiatives for cross-functional ExM organization.

 

4)    Be innovative:

  • Recognize and embrace simpler, more efficient ways of working.
  • Discover and implement the use of new tools and/or software for documentation tracking, metrics, data management, etc.

 

Organization of work

  • The External Manufacturing Procurement Project Manager is working in a remote mode and in cross-functional and cross-geographical organization.
  • The person is required to attend the internal and external meeting as planned. 
  • The person should ensure to be reachable when required by the manager on the working time of his manager. 
  • The Task and deliverables to achieve are defined by the manager and also by nature of the duties of the role described above.
    • Required task to make progress on the actions defined in the team.
    • Required task in accordance with the Servier group RACI (roles & responsibilities).
    • Required task for any project where Procurement is involved.


Profile requirements

  • Qualification – bachelor’s degree in science and/or Master degree
  • Experienced in procurement project management, ideally within a regulated industry.
  • Skilled in project management in complex and matrix organization.: set and prioritize goals, identify deliverables, perform risk/gap assessments, and manage stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical abilities and solid experience with data analytics and metrics reporting software/tools.
  • Experience working within cross-functional, cross company, global team. Proficient in utilizing risk management processes.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English required.
