Procurement Manager

The person employed in this position will report directly to the Director of the Plant and will be responsible for:

• creating a procurement policy and supervising its implementation

• planning the purchase budget and supervising its implementation

• conducting purchasing processes through market analysis, searching for new suppliers, negotiating, preparing contracts, and then controlling their implementation 

• comprehensive management of contracts and suppliers through: building commercial relationships, auditing and evaluation

• optimization of procurement processes by: searching for and implementing solutions to reduce procurement costs and applying the best procurement practices

• constant cooperation within corporate and local projects with all departments

• reporting key performance indicators (KPIs).

We are looking for candidates with:

• at least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a large company,

• knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, which will be a significant asset

• higher education

• ability to manage team

• skills in conducting trade negotiations 

• communication skills and assertiveness,

• focus on achieving goals, 

• very good knowledge of spoken and written English

The candidate should be characterized by:

• highly developed analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills.

• professionalism in building relationships with contractors.

• very good organization of work

• knowledge of the industry and market trends 

• resistance to stress and the ability to make changes with a focus on achieving goals,

• the ability to think analytically and critically, as well as to make decisions quickly and to remain effective in action under time pressure,
