Role Summary
The Director, Contract Administration and Government Pricing is a critical leadership role responsible for the operational integrity of Servier’s commercial and government contracting. Reporting to the Executive Director, U.S. Pricing and Contracting, you will oversee the systems, processes, and submissions that ensure every contract is executed accurately and every price is reported compliantly. You will lead the "engine room" of the department, managing complex rebate adjudications, class-of-trade assignments, and the rigorous calculation of federal price points in a high-stakes regulatory environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Government Pricing & Regulatory Compliance
- Lead accurate and timely calculation, validation, and submission of all mandated government pricing metrics, including AMP, Best Price, ASP, and 340B ceiling prices
- Direct the submission of Non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (NFAMP) and Federal Ceiling Price (FCP) to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
- Monitor and interpret changes in federal and state laws (including IRA-driven updates) to ensure reporting methodologies remain compliant with evolving CMS and OIG guidance
- Oversee state price transparency reporting and price increase notifications, ensuring Servier meets all jurisdictional requirements to avoid penalties
- Contract Administration & Rebate Operations
- Manage the end-to-end rebate adjudication process for Commercial Payers, Medicare Part D, and Managed Medicaid, ensuring claims are valid and paid according to contract terms
- Direct the maintenance of the Contract Management System (CMS), ensuring all contract terms, discount tiers, and eligibility criteria are accurately loaded and updated
- Oversee the Class of Trade (CoT) and membership validation process to ensure 340B and GPO entities are correctly identified, and only eligible claims are processed
- Serve as the primary lead for external and internal audits related to government pricing and commercial contracting operations
- Strategic Operational Support
- Provide the Executive Director and the Pricing Committee with impact analyses of proposed contract strategies on Government Pricing (e.g., Best Price implications)
- Collaborate with the GTN and Finance teams to provide detailed actual-to-accrual data, supporting more precise revenue forecasting
- Manage relationships with third-party service providers (TPAs) and software vendors involved in the pricing and rebate ecosystem
- Leadership & Team Development
- Manage and develop a team of analysts, promoting technical mastery and a high degree of attention to detail
- Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and enhance data integrity
Education and Required Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced financial degree preferred
- Experience: 8-10+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience, with at least 5 years in Government Pricing and Contract Administration
- Therapeutic Knowledge: Experience in Oncology or Rare Diseases is highly preferred
- Technical Skills: Expert level knowledge of CMS/Medicaid rebate system and mastery of government pricing regulations and calculations
- Detail orientation: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to manage large datasets and ensure accurate reporting
- Leadership: Proven experience in managing direct reports and cross-functional operational workflows

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $193,000-$233,000. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
