Thought Leader Liaison

MAIN FOCUS AND MISSION:
The Thought Leader Liaison will play a crucial role in the marketing team by establishing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) in neurosurgeon society. This position is responsible for gathering insights from thought leaders, facilitating collaborations, hosting educational seminars to ensure appropriate use of drugs and ensuring that the voice of the KOLs is integrated into the company’s marketing strategies and initiatives. A person who oversees this position would be a product manager for a global brand.


ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Relationship Management:
➢Identify and engage with KOLs, researchers, and healthcare professionals to build and maintain strong relationships.
➢Serve as the primary point of contact for KOLs, addressing their inquiries and facilitating communication with internal teams.


•Insight Gathering:
➢Conduct regular meetings and discussions with KOLs to gather insights on industry trends, treatment practices, and unmet needs.
➢Analyze and synthesize feedback from KOLs to inform marketing strategies and product development.


•Collaboration and Support:
➢Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, sales, and product management, to align KOL insights with business objectives.
➢Support the planning and execution of educational seminars, speaker programs, and other KOL engagement initiatives.


•Strategic Input:
➢Provide strategic recommendations based on KOL feedback to enhance marketing campaigns and product positioning.
➢Assist in the development of educational materials and resources that reflect the perspectives of thought leaders.


•Compliance and Reporting:
➢Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.
➢Maintain accurate records of KOL interactions and insights for reporting and strategic planning purposes.


YOUR PROFILE:
•Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
Hard skills/ Expertise:
•Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
•Strong understanding of pharmaceutical product promotion and relevant regulations.
•Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
•High motivation and commitment to achieve business goals.


Soft skills:
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
•English skill preferred. (Benchmark: TOEIC L&R 600)
