Medical Excellence Specialist

.

Accountabilities:
1) Strategy
Work collaboratively and proactively with the Brand Teams to support and develop strategic, medical, scientific and relationship management plans that align with business objectives.
Medical input into key cross-functional groups (including but not limited to): Regulatory; Clinical,Safety; Clinical R&D, etc. for successful development and life cycle management of products.

2) Project Management + Operationalization
As part of the Medical Excellence and information team, proactively participate to ensure ongoing improvements in the medical organization and processes, including guidance and support to team members (as necessary) to drive projects and initiatives as planned whilst ensuring compliance.

3) Medical Excellence and Operations Initiatives include, but not exclusive:
a) MSL Excellence:
• Develop and implement MSL excellence initiatives.(e.g. Soft skills, MSL KPIs, MSL Best practices, Medical information sharing, competitive intelligence, MA competency framework, etc.)
b) KOL Management system/tool:
• Develop and implement KOL Management excellence initiatives. (e.g., KOL Management tool, KOL planning/ mapping)
c) Medical Operations:
• Drives and supports implementation of strategic operations and planning to ensure implementation and optimization of processes for realization of medical tactics e.g., ad boards, speaker training  programs, data/digital initiatives.
• Data gaps/ insights and data generation
• Manage vendors, budgets and timelines.
d) Training/SOPs
• Develop, implement and manage training programs for Medical personnel and other internal stakeholders (e.g. MRs, MSLs) by function and role (e.g. new hire and skills-based training) as required.
• Develop and maintain SOPs as required.
e) Medical Compliance related
• Medical compliance review process management (Promotional material, symposia slide, etc.)
• Grants and Donations/ IIS review and approval
• Other medical compliance issues

Skills and Education:
• Education: Qualifications in a relevant discipline such as medical, pharmacy, biotechnology, or life science (desirable).
• Experiences: At least 5 years of appropriate experience with demonstrated relevant competencies required to qualify for this role.

Languages:
• Japanese: native level
• English: business level
