MAIN FOCUS AND MISSION:
About the position:
In this context Nihon Servier decides to create a position of FP&A Manager, reporting to Nihon Servier Head of Finance.
As Nihon Servier FP&A manager, you’ll also be part of the Servier Global Finance network (Paris, HQ), ready to build the FP&A of tomorrow.
Job Purpose:
Working as part of the Finance and Purchasing team, the successful candidate will play a key role between the Finance function and Operations in supporting the Company’s financial objectives.
Reporting to the Head of Finance, the FP&A Manager will be a key supporting figure within the Company. Working as part of the Finance and Purchasing team, the successful candidate will play a key role between the Finance function and Operations in supporting the site’s financial objectives.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be the primary business partner between the finance function and Operations.
- Establish and update the budget of the defined perimeter in association with internal stakeholders and take into account the objectives set by the Company.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual closing process by analyzing gaps (Actual vs Budget, Actual vs Last year) in Gross Profit, SG&A, other income/expenses, Cashflow etc.
- Proactively identify and address SG&A risks and opportunities by closely working with department heads, HQ finance team and other relevant functions
- Determine the criteria to measure financial performance.
- Enhance forecast accuracy and provide risks and opportunities in a timely manner to prevent critical business issues.
- Assist the Head of Finance with various other duties relating to reporting and budget.
- Prepare custom financial reports and support business initiatives or special projects for ad-hoc analysis & special Projects.
YOUR PROFILE:
Hard skills/ Expertise:
- More than 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (Forecasting, Reporting, Business Analysis)
- Strong analytical skills with high IT literacy utilizing SAP, PowerPoint and Excel
- Manage conflict in the tough business situations.
- Ability to present complex information and analysis in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of IFRS
- Strong and fluent Japanese and English written and verbal communication skill

- Ability to communicate at all organizational levels.
- Ability to build relationships and demonstrate interpersonal agility to achieve win-win outcomes.

General requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree minimum
- Working experience in international company is highly preferred.
- Working experience at pharmaceutical companies is plus.
