Main Responsibilities
Marketing Campaign Management
To lead the GI marketing strategy and work with the cross functional teams to successfully implement this strategy.
Create promotional marketing materials in line with the marketing strategy, ensuring that materials are compliant with regulatory requirements (ABPI Code of Practice) and within budget.
To ensure local implementation of key global initiatives to drive the product strategy.
Gather feedback from the field teams to appraise the Campaign and material’s effectiveness and propose changes and improvements when necessary to ensure they meet the need of the teams, resulting in maximum commercial success of the product.
To develop knowledge of competitor launches/product development, strategy and tactics wherever possible.
Marketing Planning
To lead the preparation and development of key marketing planning documents for assigned products to the required standard and timescales throughout each financial year, in collaboration with the cross-functional team.
Identify key strategic issues for the product and propose solutions to maximise product performance within budgets available.
Advocacy Development
Play a key role in building productive business relationships with Therapy Area Experts (TAE’s) and other stakeholders in order to maximise their motivation and support for the product.
Cross-functional Team Work
Communicate effectively within the organisation to ensure the motivation and alignment of relevant internal stakeholders to achieve product objectives.
To lead the monthly GI CFT meetings in order to support the product strategy.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science or business-related field.
ABPI code training essential.
Previous experience (1-2 years) in pharmaceutical marketing and implementation of the marketing strategy is essential.
Previous experience in oncology is preferred.
Previous field experience in sales (eg KAM) is preferred.
