Key Account Specialist, Oncology

The Key Account Specialist (KAS) is responsible for driving commercial performance across assigned oncology accounts in Singapore. This role focuses on both solid tumor and hematologic portfolios, requiring strong scientific engagement and the ability to manage complex hospital ecosystems and multidisciplinary stakeholders.

 

The KAS plays a key role in translating clinical value into adoption through effective stakeholder engagement and disciplined account execution.

Job Description

1) Account Strategy and Ownership
• Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for major oncology centers and institutions in Singapore
• Map key stakeholders including oncologists, hematologists, pharmacists, and hospital administrators
• Understand institutional treatment pathways and patient flow dynamics

 

2) Scientific Engagement Across Tumor Types
• Conduct high quality, compliant scientific discussions across both solid and hematologic malignancies
• Position products based on clinical data, treatment guidelines, and evolving standards of care
• Tailor engagement based on subspecialty needs such as AML, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, and other relevant tumor types


3) Stakeholder Engagement and Account Development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key healthcare professionals and decision makers
• Drive product awareness, confidence, and appropriate use within assigned accounts

• Identify opportunities to expand usage within existing accounts

 

4) Cross Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Medical and Marketing teams to ensure aligned execution of brand strategy
• Provide field insights to inform strategy and identify opportunities for growth
• Support execution of scientific events, educational programs, and engagement platforms


5) Performance Management and Execution
• Deliver sales performance in line with targets for assigned portfolio
• Monitor account level performance and adjust strategies accordingly

• Ensure timely and accurate Lynx CRM reporting and compliance with company standards

Candidate Profile

 

Education/ Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field
  • Minimum 2 to 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • Strong understanding of Singapore healthcare system and hospital environment
