As the Program & Portfolio Excellence Director within our Group Transformation & Program Office (GTPO), you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic execution and achieving our Servier 2030 ambitions.
Mission :
- Strategic Partnership: Act as a critical partner to various Group departments (e.g., Human Resources, Digital/Data & IS, Global Medical & Patient Affairs) to ensure the successful scoping, launch, and execution of the group's strategic "SPOT" programs.
- Portfolio Leadership: Collaborate with peers to establish and maintain a cohesive 3-year strategic vision for the entire SPOT program portfolio, ensuring robust alignment and effective monitoring.
- Group-Wide Cohesion: Drive consistency in program and project management practices across the Group by fostering strong alignment between the GTPO and all key departmental program/project stakeholders.
- Excellence in Practice: Contribute actively to the continuous enhancement and evolution of project management methodologies and standards across the entire Servier Group.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows :
1. Program Monitoring and Execution Oversight
- Strategic Alignment: Partner with various departments (HR, Secretary General, Digital & IT, Global Medical & Patient Affairs) to align their specific SPOT programs with the Group Portfolio strategy.
- Program Lifecycle Management: Monitor and challenge each program from the scoping phase through to closure.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure programs reach the necessary level of maturity and preparation prior to launch.
- Performance Management: Identify areas for improvement, track milestones and deliverables, and propose corrective actions in case of deviations.
- Governance Support: Facilitate and support Group Investment Strategic Committees (GI-SC) and Steering Committees to ensure effective decision-making.
- Reporting: Manage and analyze quarterly reporting via the Group Dashboard and provide support for the Group PPM tool (VYP) and Power BI.
2. Contribution to the GTPO Center of Excellence
- Methodology & Tools: Collaborate with the GTPO team to develop and implement standardized tools and solutions for enhanced portfolio management.
- Long-term Planning: Participate in the 3-year SPOT portfolio projection in coordination with other Excellence Directors and Business Functions.
- Network Animation: Lead and animate the internal networks of Program and Portfolio Managers.
- Change Management: Act as an ambassador for the methodologies and PPM tools (e.g., VYP) developed by the GTPO.
Required Profile:
- In-depth knowledge of the Pharmaceutical value chain.
- Extensive professional experience in Project and Program Management.
- Strong capacity for analysis, synthesis, and the simplification of complex processes.
- Deep understanding of the business challenges related to various corporate functions.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Proven ability in steering and execution with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization.
