Global Media & Digital Activation Lead

Global Product Strategy Operations (GPSO) – Servier HQ (Worldwide)

Position Summary

Servier is accelerating its digital and omnichannel transformation within Global Product Strategy Operations team (GPSO). To strengthen its expertise and governance in media and digital activation, the group is recruiting a Global Media & Digital Activation Lead.

This role will bring media strategy expertise and operational guidance to global and local marketing teams, helping structure and elevate Servier therapeutic area’s paid media approach across channels and geographies.

Reporting to the Global Omnichannel, Digital & AI Director, the position will play a key role in:

  • Defining global media governance and KPIs
  • Consolidating global and local media accounts and budgets
  • Supporting teams in optimizing activation strategies_
  • Contributing to the development of the Omnichannel Playbook and Measurement Framework

Key Responsibilities

1. Media Strategy & Expertise

  • Lead Servier therapeutic area’s media excellence across global and local teams (SEA, social, display, programmatic, video, etc.).
  • Provide strategic guidance on media planning, buying, and optimization to ensure data-driven and efficient investments.
  • Define governance and processes for Google Ads and other media platforms, including the consolidation of local accounts under a global parent structure.
  • Benchmark and recommend the right media mix per objective and per target (awareness, engagement, conversion), integrating both online and offline channels.
  • Ensure all activities comply with healthcare industry standards and regulations.

2. Omnichannel & Campaign Support

  • Partner with global marketing teams to define media and channel strategies aligned with brand objectives and customer journeys.
  • Support affiliates in campaign orchestration and agency briefing, ensuring consistency with global standards and KPIs.
  • Challenge agencies to elevate the quality and performance of media activations.
  • Contribute to the Omnichannel Playbook, ensuring that media activation best practices are fully integrated.

3. Measurement & Performance Framework

  • Build and maintain a unified media measurement framework, defining KPIs, benchmarks, and reporting templates.
  • Partner with analytics and data teams to track performance and identify optimization levers.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to global and local teams to continuously improve media efficiency.

4. Governance & Capability Building

  • Establish a global media governance model (account ownership, budget tracking, agency management).
  • Drive capability-building initiatives for global and local marketing teams on paid media strategy and activation.
  • Lead knowledge-sharing between global & local teams and contribute to upskilling programs across markets.
  • Collaborate with DDSI and other global teams to align on tools, data, and technology integration.

Profile Required

  • 7+ years of experience in digital media or omnichannel marketing, ideally within a media or communication agency.
  • Experience in Health or Pharma accounts is recommended, with a solid understanding of the regulatory environment, compliance constraints, and data privacy standards specific to this industry.
  • Proven expertise in paid media management (Google Ads, social, programmatic, SEO/SEA).
  • Solid experience in media strategy, planning, and budget optimization across multiple markets.
  • Strong analytical mindset with hands-on experience in performance monitoring and ROI optimization.
  • Ability to translate global strategies into actionable frameworks and to coach marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of omnichannel marketing, data-driven decision making, and media governance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English (French is a plus).
