Senior Manager, Oncology Marketing

Role Summary

The Senior Marketing Manager at Servier Pharmaceuticals will support the development of marketing strategy and lead implementation of key tactics to support the US business.

 

The brand marketer will be supporting our asparaginase hematology brands. This role reports to the Director, Oncology Marketing, Hematology.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute tactical plans that pull through brand strategy, to maintain product uptake and meet or exceed expected financial return
  • Consistently manage multiple projects to deliver high-quality work product in a timely fashion
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs and recommend changes in strategy or tactics as appropriate
  • Collaborate and coordinate with Oncology Nurse Educators to ensure alignment, deliver on business priorities, and exceed business targets through implementation of brand strategy and tactics
  • Communicate and collaborate with Sales Leadership and the Sales Force to implement brand strategies and maintain adherence to appropriate regulatory and Pharma guidelines
  • Collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, Medical, and Compliance stakeholders to ensure development and execution of compliant marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with other cross-functional teams such as Learning & Development, Key Customer Strategy, Insights & Analytics, Market Access, Corporate Strategy, and Patient Advocacy to ensure alignment and advance the business
  • Effectively track and manage marketing budget for areas of responsibility
  • Support development of the strategic plan for the US market for the asparaginase portfolio to maintain product uptake and meet or exceed organizational objectives
  • Apply innovative new technologies and solutions and apply market research, consulting, and other customer insights to inform decisions

 

Education and Required Skills

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts (or equivalent work experience), MBA preferred, with minimum 5 years of commercial experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other specialty healthcare industry, including 2 years in marketing
  • Demonstrated ability to support development of marketing strategies and lead execution of key tactics to drive adoption and growth of inline products in US specialty or biotech market; experience with hematology, oncology, pediatric, or rare disease products strongly preferred
  • Experience with various components of marketing mix (ie, promotional approaches)—including HCP personal promotion, non-personal promotion, peer-to-peer, congress planning, and patient promotion—and with prioritizing resources to most effective areas to drive results
  • Strong project management skills with ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, external agencies and vendors, and promotional budgets
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotion, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to implement sales or marketing programs with measurable business impact in a heavily matrixed, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to clearly communicate at all levels of the organization as well as with external audiences

 

Travel and Location

  • Boston, MA-based strongly preferred with up to 25% travel required, East Coast remote considered with up to 40% travel required
