Mision

 

The Medical Team Manager is responsible for overseeing a high-performing Field Medical team, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy and delivering measurable impact on patient outcomes through the safe and effective use of Servier medicines. This role will drive the execution of local Medical Affairs strategic plans by leading integrated, insight-driven field medical activities focused on scientific engagement, evidence generation, and stakeholder collaboration.

 

The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the healthcare ecosystem to guide clinical practice transformation, promote innovation, and support patient access to quality care. The Medical Manager acts as a coach, manager, and key contributor to the broader Medical Affairs team, ensuring excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across all medical operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Team & People Management

* Recruit and retain top field medical talent in line with role requirements and organizational values.

* Foster a culture of diversity & inclusion, agility, innovation, and collaborative partnerships.

* Lead, coach, and develop a scientifically strong and strategically oriented Field Medical team.

* Manage team performance with defined KPIs linked to patient-centric outcomes.

* Ensure the team understands the healthcare ecosystem to drive impactful, population-level health discussions.

* Guide the team in delivering complex scientific content through appropriate channels tailored to stakeholder needs.

* Ensure timely and quality reporting of insights and activities into internal systems.

* Serve as a subject matter expert in the assigned therapeutic area and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

* Conduct field visits and one-on-one coaching in alignment with global field engagement models.

* Promote Servier values and foster a culture of personal accountability, agility, and operational excellence.

* Oversee compliance with Servier standards, policies, and local regulations.

* Manage team budgets and ensure responsible use of financial resources.

* Lead change management initiatives that support organizational goals.

 

 

Strategic Planning & Delivery

* Align Field Medical Strategy (FMSP) with Medical Affairs strategic objectives.

* Develop and execute integrated engagement plans, including outreach to traditional and non-traditional stakeholders.

* Collaborate cross-functionally to shape and implement medical and brand strategies.

* Prioritize field activities in line with portfolio and strategic imperatives.

* Identify and initiate sustainable clinical practice transformation projects that enhance access to care.

* Drive adoption of digital tools and innovative solutions to enhance engagement and deliver equitable health outcomes.

* Use data-driven decision-making to guide internal discussions and optimize external interactions.

* Translate field insights into actionable strategic contributions for internal stakeholders.

* Track and communicate progress versus plan, including mitigation strategies and impact analysis.

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant scientific, industry, and regulatory developments.

* Ensure accurate documentation of field activities in line with KPI tracking and performance systems.

 

Education, Skills, and Experience

 

Required:

* Advanced scientific degree (e.g., MSc or equivalent).

* Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.

* Demonstrated analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.

* Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the Field Medical function.

* Proven ability to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

* Thorough knowledge of relevant healthcare and pharmaceutical legislation.

* Team management and leadership experience.

 

 Preferred:

* Doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D., Pharm.D.) in a scientific discipline.

* Experience in Cardiometabolic, Oncology and/or Hematology.

* Background in clinical, pre-clinical, or basic research.

* Familiarity with drug development and discovery.

* Experience working across multiple Medical Affairs functions.
