Digital Strategist

.

Main Purpose of the Job:  The Digital Strategist is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives across the organisation, ensuring the successful delivery of digital projects that enhance business processes, improve customer experience, and drive marketing and sales innovation. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic goals.

 

 

Objectives:

  • Drive marketing and medical digital innovation.
  • Set and implement digital strategy by working with the marketing, medical, and business excellence teams to transition from traditional processes to digital ones.
  • Ensure collaboration, knowledge sharing, and digital best practices between the marketing team, medical team, and field force.
  • Guide medical and marketing teams to generate relevant digital content.
  • Follow the current digital strategy and develop new digital perspectives in line with our Global Servier 2030 strategy.
  • Ensure that all relevant digital initiatives are fully integrated into the strategic plan process for leadership commitment, resource allocation, and execution success.
  • Own and centrally monitor the digital projects portfolio and analyze performance (ROI).
  • Build, present, and introduce the full digital strategy and its objectives to the global team during business reviews.
  • Identify new digital tools and platforms (e.g., AI) that can support, enhance, and improve our brand communications and patient awareness.
  • Present, and train relevant staff on the various strategic projects in line with the digital transformation and strategy.

 

Project Management:

  • Lead and manage digital projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain the online ‘digital resource centre’ with essential project information, development/deployment road maps, testimonials, KPIs, launch guidance, technical docs.

 

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, marketing, sales, and operations, to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and address any issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with influential Health Care Professionals, who we can leverage on as Digital Opinion Leaders through face-to-face and virtual engagements in order to better understand their needs and offer focused digital solutions.

Digital Strategy:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's digital strategy.
  • Together with Sales management and Marketing team, define and optimise the omnichannel strategy, launching various projects to support our value proposition for and with our field force.
  • Identify opportunities for digital innovation and improvements in business processes.
  • Launch digital projects for our patients to improve their quality of life, in line with our the company’s marketing and selling strategy.
  • Study and define our Health Care Practitioners’ digital attraction to understand their profiles and adjust segmentation/targeting accordingly.
  • Develop digital content to help and support HCPs daily according to their needs.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate and manage project resources, including team members, vendors, and technology.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust resources as needed to meet project goals.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable digital infrastructure with the relevant tools, and systems for effective and accurate Customer Relationship Management and Promo materials
  • Improve the company’s e-reputation through digital activations such as GBP (Google Business Profile), website, and Google Ads.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and update project plans accordingly.
  • Ensure data safety and protection, in  accordance with company data protection regulations.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Amplify the impact in sales by leveraging digital capabilities such as website portals, emailing, WhatsApp & SMS campaigns, patient websites/blogs, and applications.    
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Measure the performance and effectiveness of emailing and WhatsApp campaigns, and define mitigating  strategies, where necessary.
  • Investigate social media listening tools to generate actionable insights from HCPs, patients, caregivers, and policymakers.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
  • Ensure that the company’s business interests are served and kept paramount at all times.

  • Respect compliance and legal rules, as well as regulatory procedures regarding the pharmaceutical industry.​​​​​​​

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Technology, Digital Marketing or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital project management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of digital technologies, trends, and best practices.
