Medical Science Liaison

Summary

  •     The MSL is a remote role focused on developing and maintaining peer-to-peer relationships with key medical experts. 
  •     This role will primarily support the company scientific program. 
  •     The MSL will collaborate with physicians and other medical experts to support trial enrollment, provide program and protocol training and ensure that health care professionals have the most up to date information as the clinical development programs mature.

Main responsibilities

  •     Uses systems to strategically map, identify, profile, and prioritize thought leaders in line with the medical plan and goals. Develop and maintain peer-to-peer collaborations and relationships with key medical experts in the HTN/Cardio/HD/CVD/T2DM community
  •     Support internal clinical development initiatives, including site identification, trial recruitment, registry, and presentation of final approved data. Collaborate with ICRO and CRO team to support clinical sites.
  •      Collaborate with physicians on medical affairs initiatives, including publications, advisory boards, medical education opportunities, training, and speaker development
  •     Generate regional tactical plans to provide needs-based, value-added support to the medical and scientific community in-line with company goals
  •     Develop an understanding of the regional landscape, including specialties involved in the care of patients
  •     Serve as a scientific peer-to-peer resource to external disease experts and internal stakeholders
    • Provide medical support and training to colleagues on critical scientific and medical topics in the relevant therapeutic area
    • Maintain effective and appropriate communication among internal stakeholders while maintaining full compliance with relevant requirements
    • Support the medical community with up-to-date medical information, robust disease expertise, and product information
  •     Communicate clinical insights on new data to the company's Medical Affairs and inform medical strategy for the therapeutic area.


Requirements

  •     Background: University graduation (Medical or Pharmaceutical major).
  •     Experience:1-2 Minimum -years’ experience in similar position.
  •     Qualification & skill
    • Good communication, analysis, and presentation skills.
    • Critical data analysis skills
    • Willingness to keep up to date with scientific literature.
