Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Scientific Communication & Medical Information

• Provide clear, evidence-based medical information and materials to HCPS, internal teams, and affiliates to support clinical practice and decision-making

• Provide medical assessment of potential new opportunities based on therapeutic needs, market landscape, and competitive intelligence.

• Define and execute the publication strategy in collaboration with R&D, ensuring timely dissemination of clinical and scientific data

• Develop medical communication strategies for international congresses, symposia, and scientific events, including abstract submission and speaker engagement.

• Ensure all promotional and non-promotional materials are scientifically accurate through review and validation of content

2. Key Opinion Leader (KOL) & Expert Engagement

• Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with medical experts, investigators, and scientific associations

• Coordinate scientific discussions to gather clinical insights that inform medical strategy

• Act as a scientific liaison between Servier and external thought leaders to strengthen Servier's scientific reputation.

3. Medical Competitive Intelligence

• Conduct ongoing medical and scientific competitive intelligence to monitor advances in relevant therapeutic areas

• Translate insights into actionable recommendations for medical strategy, clinical positioning and life cycle planning.

4. Regulatory & Compliance

• Work closely with Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and Compliance to ensure all medical activities adhere to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards.

• Act as a role model for scientific integrity and ethical conduct in all medical affairs activities and external scientific interactions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Medical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD in life sciences, or equivalent clinical/scientific qualification).

• Minimum 3 years of clinical practice or pharmaceutical/biotech industry experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or related roles.

• Proven experience in scientific communication (publications, congress presentations, advisory boards).

• Deep therapeutic area expertise relevant to Servier portfolio preferred.

• Fluency in English (written and spoken)

Hard Skills :

• Expertise in medical strategy execution across the product lifecycle.

• Proficiency in publication planning, manuscript writing, and peer-review processes.

• Experience in congress planning, abstract preparation, and symposium coordination.

• Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical and scientific data.

• Competency in medical competitive intelligence gathering and analysis.

Soft Skills :

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including engagement with KOLs, investigators, and cross-functional teams.

• Clear, precise, and persuasive communication with internal teams, external experts, and regulatory bodies.

• Strong collaboration skills to build productive partnerships across R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Compliance, and affiliates.

• High level of scientific integrity and ethical conduct in all medical affairs activities.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Adaptability to changing priorities and emerging scientific evidence.
