Global Real World Evidence Project Lead (F/M)

Department Objectives: The Global Real World Evidence (RWE) department, within the Clinical Development & R&D CMO Directorate, plays a crucial role in our organization. Our mission is to generate Real World Evidence and Insights to support the development and drive the success of our assets. Leveraging RWD and innovative methods, we empower informed decisions that enhance our products' value and impact. Collaborating with internal R&D partners (Therapeutic Areas, Regulatory Affairs, and Global Safety) and across the Group (Global Medical & Patient Affairs, Market Access), as well as with external partners (academic institutions and specialized CROs), our department aims to provide high-quality RWE studies across all therapeutic areas.

Role Overview: The Global Real World Evidence Project Lead will be instrumental in developing and executing the RWE strategy to support drug development and regulatory studies from the initial phases. This role involves generating data and results that inform development strategies, optimizing the market launch of innovative treatments for patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Participate in the creation of RWE strategies to support drug development and regulatory studies from initial phases through market launch.
  • Data Access and Generation: Develop plans to access targeted real-world data sources through external collaborations or new data generation to meet research and development needs.
  • Study Protocols: Develop and implement study protocols, ensuring compliance and high-quality data collection in line with current guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams teams to define study designs and methodologies, identifying relevant data sources for reliable results.
  • Regulatory monitoring: Maintain continuous epidemiological and regulatory monitoring to ensure the relevance and impact of RWE projects and anticipate field developments.
  • Feasibility and Design: Evaluate study feasibility, defining the best design and methodology considering costs and timelines to ensure project efficiency and profitability.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, managing financial resources effectively to meet budget constraints while achieving objectives.
  • Communication: Actively participate in and lead meetings within the global RWE team, R&D, and broader Servier group to ensure effective collaboration and alignment of strategies.

Profile:

  • Qualifications: Physician or Pharmacist with specialization in pharmacoepidemiology, or a PhD in epidemiology.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 to 8 years in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, with proven experience in developing and executing epidemiological projects.
  • Skills: Strong collaboration and communication skills, proactive mindset, and fluency in English.
