As a Medical Scientific Liaison at Servier, you will play a vital role in shaping medical strategies that improve patient outcomes and elevate standards of care across healthcare systems. As a dedicated Field Scientific Expert you will serve as a pivotal resource within their designated therapeutic area, spearheading the execution of Medical Affairs Plans for both pre-launch and newly launched products/indications.

Responsibilities include Involvement in, and potential leadership of, evidence generation activities will be a key component of medical strategy objectives.

The expert will deliver scientifically sound, technical, and pharmaco-economic insights through one-on-one interactions and expert-led meetings, building confidence and facilitating knowledge dissemination.

This role is instrumental in shaping clinical practice through strategic scientific engagements, fostering robust partnerships, and cultivating collaborations with key opinion leaders (KOLs), alongside other stakeholders such as policymakers, patient advocacy groups, government stakeholders, and innovative solution providers.

This position requires you to act as a proactive change agent, equipped with comprehensive knowledge of the healthcare system's intricacies, including its operational environment, strategic priorities, established clinical pathways, and patient care journeys.

By harnessing insights and driving the implementation of medical strategic plans, you will catalyze strategic, scalable, and sustainable improvements in clinical practice.

Skills required:

  • Educational Attainment: Master's degree or equivalent in a scientific Area.
  • Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders through diverse communication channels.
  • Project Management Expertise: Proven excellence in project management.
  • Presentation Acumen: Superior presentation skills.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Advanced analytical and conceptual thinking capabilities.
  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership and management competencies.
  • Travel Readiness: Willingness and ability to travel

Preferable:

  • Advanced scientific acumen: Demonstrated by a doctoral degree in a scientific discipline
  • Proven industry experience: With a strong track record in the pharmaceutical sector, encompassing regulatory affairs, clinical or preclinical research, and a deep understanding of a specific therapeutic area's disease states and treatment paradigms.
  • Comprehensive drug development lifecycle expertise: Including foundational research, drug discovery, and development processes, as well as successful Key Expert engagement strategies.
  • Collaborative team player: Proven ability to effectively contribute to and thrive within cross-functional teams.
  • Direct MSL experience: A minimum of two years of hands-on experience as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical industry.
