Senior Physico-chemical Analyst

.

As a Senior Analyst in the Physiochemical Lab, you will be responsible for conducting a range of physiochemical tests to assess the quality and composition of pharmaceutical products. This role requires technical proficiency, attention to detail, and adherence to cGMP, FDA regulations, and other quality standards.

 

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Physiochemical Testing:
    • Perform a variety of physiochemical tests, including but not limited to dissolution, titrations, HPLC, GC, and moisture content analysis.
    • Ensure that all testing procedures are conducted according to established protocols and quality standards.
    • Carry routine testing for plant water systems.
    • Monitor Expiration of reagents
    • Contact suppliers for calibration of equipment and reagents purchase
    • Supervise the filing process.
    • Participate in the analytical validation of products as requested by MOH.
    • Participate in the preparation of standards, reagents, and Reports for MOH.
  2. Instrument Operation:
    • Operate and maintain analytical instruments and equipment in the physiochemical lab.
    • Conduct routine calibration and troubleshooting of instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.

 

  1. Data Analysis and Documentation:
    • Analyze test results and accurately record data in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
    • Prepare detailed reports summarizing physiochemical test results for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Performing analysis result of process transfer and validation batches
  2. Compliance and Quality Standards:
    • Ensure compliance with cGMP and other relevant quality standards in all physiochemical testing activities.
    • Assist in the investigation of any deviations or non-conformances, participating in root cause analyses and corrective actions.
    • Provide input in writing Standard operating procedures/work instructions and updating new versions.
  3. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
    • Work closely with other quality control analysts, quality assurance, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless coordination of testing activities.
    • Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  4. Continuous Improvement:
    • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the physiochemical lab.
    • Provide input for the optimization of testing methods, procedures, and laboratory processes.
