Role Summary 

The Sr. Manager, Talent & Organizational Development will play a critical role in shaping and executing talent development strategies that enable the organization to achieve its strategic priorities. This role will oversee daily operations and management of Talent & Organizational Development, ensuring seamless program execution. The Sr. Manager, Talent & Organization Development will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Director, Talent & Organizational Development to develop and implement high-impact programs—many from the ground up. Partnering with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and key stakeholders, this role will drive initiatives to improve performance and enhance leadership capability, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness across U.S. functions. 

 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Manage program logistics, vendor management, communication, and LMS administration (in partnership with systems manager)maintain calendar of events and dashboard updates. 

  • Manage and update the SharePoint page with relevant content and resources. 

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual instructor-led employee development sessions and workshops across the organization. 

  • Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online modules. 

  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to employees in or seeking training programs. 

  • Manage training budgets and resources effectively. 

  • Develop communication and engagement strategies to enhance participation in programs and maximize e-learning platform adoption. 

  • Conduct training needs assessments, analyze data, summarize findings and refine programs based on insights.  

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of  programs through feedback, survey’s and impact. 

  • Monitor market trends and best practices, propose enhancements to development programs to align with observations. 

  • Partner with HRBPs and business leaders to design, implement and improve, learning and performance solutions that align with organizational and department goals. 

  • Research the latest in organizational L&D trends, technologies and practices to support evaluation and pilot fit-for-purpose solutions 

 

 

Education & Required Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree  

  • 5+ years of experience in leadership development and training, talent management, and/or organizational development. 

  • Vendor  management experience required 

  • Expertise in developing and facilitating learning experiences across multiple platforms (in-person, virtual, hybrid, and self-paced). 

  • Exceptional presentation, verbal & written communication skills. 

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple initiatives effectively. 

  • People management experience preferred, not required.

  • Knowledge of performance management, adult learning principles, and instructional design processes and frameworks. 

  • Ability to influence and collaborate in a complex, matrixed environment. 

  • Proficient in MS Power Point. 

 

 

Travel and Location 

  • 30% travel expected

  • Hybrid Boston based role with 2-3 days in office
