Role Summary
The Manager of Patient Advocacy and Engagement is an integral member of Servier’s Patient Office Team, working to foster meaningful relationships with patient organizations, caregivers, and cross-functional partners. Reporting to the Associate Director of Advocacy and Engagement, this role supports patient-focused initiatives, encompassing patient education, advocacy partnerships, strategic alliances, and charitable giving, all aimed at amplifying Servier's mission to serve patients and advocates.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support strategic planning and execution for disease-specific advocacy initiatives aligned with Servier's patient-centered goals and cross-functional priorities.
- Assist in tracking program performance through key performance indicators and regular updates on strategy, charitable giving, advocacy engagement and budgeting.
- Develop and lead patient forums, events, panels, and meetings, building trust and engagement with patients and advocacy organizations.
- Produce and manage tools, programming, and materials for patient education and engagement, ensuring high-quality communication for internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate patient insights and advocacy strategies, enhancing Servier’s thought leadership and strategic objectives.
- Represent Servier at advocacy events and medical congresses, fostering a presence within the patient advocacy community and elevating Servier’s dedication to patient-focused initiatives.
Education & Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or a related field.
- 3-4+ years' experience in a non-profit or patient organization and experience working with pharmaceutical industry partners
- Strong communication skills, agility in fast-paced environments, and proficiency in strategic planning and relationship-building across diverse stakeholders.
Travel and Location
- Boston-based hybrid preferred with 2-3 days per week expected in our Seaport office; remote candidates will be considered
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time to represent Servier and engage with patient communities and organizations.
