IT Business Relationship Manager - Finance and External Manufacturing (ExM Ops and Industry ExM Quality and Supply Chain teams)
Role Summary
We are seeking an IT Business Relationship Manager (BRM) with a technical focus reporting to the IT Director, Corporate & Industry (C&I). This role will collaborate with the IT Director and key business stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives. In this supporting role, you will act as a liaison between IT and business units, including Finance and External Manufacturing (ExM Ops and Industry ExM Quality and Supply Chain teams), ensuring that IT strategies drive business value and support optimal service delivery. Your responsibilities will include managing business relationships, vendor partnerships, and application support, while facilitating communication between IT and business teams. You will gather and analyze business requirements, support project delivery, administrate systems (as needed), and collaborate with IT teams, including Application Management, Data Management, Cybersecurity, and the Infrastructure and Help Desk teams. A key focus will be overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the ERP ecosystem and systems, such as Oracle NetSuite and SAP S/4HANA, as well as other systems, to meet evolving business needs, ensuring integration, compliance with IT general / GxP controls, data privacy standards, and secure data handling. Your role will also involve supporting integrations within the Server ecosystem across, functions, ensuring smooth operations and alignment with business goals.
Additionally, you will work closely with Servier Group in France to support US shared services systems and ensure alignment between platforms and business processes.
Primary Responsibilities

Provide technical support for applications and integrations within the IT C&I portfolio

Support IT Director, C&I Business Partner in demand management

Adaptively assume the roles of Business Relationship Manager, Project Manager, or Business Systems Analyst based on evolving project needs and priorities

Build and maintain relationships within C&I portfolio business stakeholders

Serve as trusted technology advisor between business units and IT

Facilitate change management and process improvements

Collaborate with IT and vendor project managers for initiative delivery

Manage and create IT SDLC project delivery and documentation

Support data flow design and integration optimization

Manage vendor relationships and evaluate system releases, updates, and enhancements

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document business requirements and future-state processes

Provide ongoing monitoring and support for ERP ecosystem and system integrations, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Education and Required Skills

5-7+ years in an IT business relationship management and technical role within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields (or equivalent practical experience).

Strong understanding of ERP ecosystems and business processes in finance, supply chain, and quality (experience with Oracle NetSuite, SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, Concur or similar is a must).

Expertise in data integration, master data management (MDM), and system architecture for large-scale IT solutions across multiple business domains.

Proven ability to manage complex enterprise projects, including stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and system integrations.

Solid experience with organizational change management to ensure successful technology adoption and user engagement.

Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical industry (e.g., SOX, GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR/CCPA, HIPAA).

Advanced communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage both technical and business teams.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to create functional specifications and technical documentation.
