Role Summary
This Director, HCP Marketing, Pediatric Oncology will lead HCP Marketing and be a key commercial leader on the OJEMDA brand team. This individual is responsible for leading the HCP marketing strategy and developing and executing programs and tactics to drive continued growth of OJEMDA and prepare the brand for a potential first-line launch.
This leader will own and drive the HCP marketing plan, including a clear promotional strategy and messaging, field sales prioritization, development of tailored selling resources, omnichannel campaign oversight, and performance management against KPIs and brand objectives. The role requires a strong commercial leader who can translate customer insights, sales needs, clinical data, market dynamics in pediatric low-grade glioma (pLGG), and performance analytics into actionable HCP plans that improve execution and drive measurable business impact. This person will play a key role in preparing for potential first-line pLGG launch of OJEMDA, ensuring launch readiness by strengthening our positioning, shaping our brand story and developing and executing launch plans.
This role requires strong marketing expertise, scientific fluency, commercial judgment, and the ability to operate effectively in a highly specialized pediatric oncology market. The Director will partner closely with Sales, Sales Training, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services, Commercial Operations and Analytics, Legal, Regulatory, and agency partners to ensure that HCP initiatives are strategy sound, insight-driven, operationally excellent, and compliant.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead HCP marketing brand strategy to ensure a clear and differentiated position for OJEMDA in support both current growth and future launch readiness
- Own the HCP message platform, core selling story, objection handling, core brand promotional claims, and promotional content strategy.
- Lead the creation of HCP tactics (including promotional materials and disease education) aligned with brand positioning to support and educate pediatric neuro-oncologists, pediatric oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and multidisciplinary treatment teams.
- Serve as the primary HCP Marketing partner to Sales leadership and field teams to ensure strong selling strategy and direction, clear messaging, and practical selling tools to support brand growth; partner with Sales Training to ensure confident execution of OJEMDA story
- Actively oversee data-driven HCP omnichannel campaign strategy and plans to ensure high-impact outreach and engagement with HCPs and strong KPI-based evaluation and optimization
- Serve as Congress lead overseeing the strategic direction for key scientific congresses, including programming and sponsorship of events, symposia, and exhibits
- Serve as an external brand champion and build key relationships with external thought leaders and HCPs to gain ongoing disease and brand insights to inform HCP launch plan
- Lead annual HCP strategic planning and develop tactical plans for key market-shaping and branded activities, determine budgets, timelines and metrics for program success in collaboration with cross-functional and agency partners
- Develop the HCP launch plan for potential front-line pLGG launch incl. the HCP strategy, launch readiness roadmap, messaging, launch resources, omnichannel strategy, and KPIs.
- Collaborate internally to deepen understanding of HCP customer insights and competitive landscape to inform HCP strategy and tactics
- Own performance management for key HCP marketing initiatives to ensure strategy and tactics are measured against clearly defined KPIs and business outcome, adjust to optimize performance. Understand tactical ROI to inform action plans and recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with Medical, Legal, and Regulatory team to ensure medically accurate and compliant execution of all marketing initiatives
- Manage the agency of record and other vendors/consultants to support high-quality deliverables on strategy and within budget
- Effectively lead and manage projects to deliver high-quality work in a timely fashion and within budget

Candidate Profile
Education and Required Skills
- A desire to be part of a highly innovative company aimed at transforming the lives of patients
- B.S./B.A. degree or higher
- 10+ years of experience in US professional marketing developing and executing HCP personal and non-personal marketing initiatives
- US launch experience
- Experience working in Oncology or rare disease preferred
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to influence stakeholders without authority and work with cross-functional teams in the development and delivery of brand priorities
- Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions, pharma industry guidelines, and other compliance-related issues
- Outstanding project management and prioritization skills and proven ability to manage external agencies and vendors
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, organized; Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with a sense of urgency

Salary Range
The salary range for this role is $208k-$250k. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. Employees in this position are also eligible for Short-Term and Long-Term incentive programs.
