Role Summary
The biostatistics summer intern for this position within US Biostatistics, Programming and Medical Writing department will work closely with a senior-level statistician on statistical research topics related to the design and analysis of clinical trials.
- Potential topics include complex innovative study design, advanced analytical methods and quantitative go/no-go decision-making methods, etc.
- Intern will present project results to colleagues and the department management at the conclusion of the summer internship.

- Strong problem-solving skills and computational skills
- Desire to innovate and think creatively
Education and Required Skills
- Candidates must be enrolled in a PhD biostatistics, statistics, or related program
- Must have completed at least two years of graduate work and passed qualification exams prior to the start of the internship and return to school in Fall 2025
- Candidates should have a solid understanding of statistical inference and good working knowledge of SAS and/or R
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

The pay rate for this role is $44/hr. An intern’s pay position within the range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
