Role Summary

 

The Associate Director, Talent Acquisition will support hiring for our US-based businesses across the enterprise, managing recruitment end-to-end for open and upcoming positions to achieve our business strategy. The company's oncology and neuro-oncology portfolio of innovative medicines is designed to bring more life-saving treatments to a greater number of patients and in a variety of tumor types. You will play an active part to ensure our businesses have the right talent to meet these goals.

 

In this role, the ideal candidate will act as a Strategic Partner with each of our functions and leadership teams, providing high-level stakeholder management and engaging the external candidate market through a variety of outreach tactics while building diverse and qualified talent pools to meet the current and future people strategies of the organization. You will have the opportunity to build out the Sourcing function within Talent Acquisition, to scale, support and lead the workforce goals of the organization through process and technology improvement project work. This position will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition.

 

Specific Responsibilities

 

  • Provide exceptional end-to-end recruitment support, managing high-level stakeholders to meet our business talent goals
  • Execute search strategies for existing and expected candidate profiles across the organization, up to and including executives
  • Establish and lead the Sourcing function with Talent Acquisition, bolstering our talent communities, external candidate engagement and attraction strategies
  • Engage hiring managers and teams to ensure an efficient and positive hiring experience
  • Act in a sourcing-specific role for executive-level positions, supporting these searches in partnership with the Director, Talent Acquisition
  • Help lead and support employment brand efforts to increase our brand awareness to prospective talent
  • Act as a Brand Ambassador to engage the external labor market for open positions and pipeline efforts; achieved through recruitment marketing, leading relevant event/conference efforts and other outreach tactics
  • Gather and integrate labor market data into the people planning and hiring processes including: salary trends, competitor data, geographic information, and other relevant insights/analysis
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate and internal stakeholder experience throughout the recruitment process
  • Regularly build and engage our talent communities in relevant skill and competency areas for current and future growth areas
  • Collaborate cross functionally to ensure pipeline and employment brand activities align with our internal people strategies
  • Lead specific project work for the Talent Acquisition function, focusing on enhancing our various technology and processes
  • Manage numerous candidate-driven channels such as referral networks, LinkedIn, employment marketing efforts, among others
  • Identify areas for improvement; lead and implement changes which enhance our team’s overall abilities

 

Skills and Education: 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
  • 7+ years recruitment/sourcing or equivalent experience required
  • 3+ years in an end-to-end recruitment position with examples of successful talent sourcing
  • Project-based and process improvement experience required
  • Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry experience highly preferred
  • High-level organization and communication skills with business leadership
  • Experience managing prospective candidates in an ATS/CRM
  • Agile mindset with the ability to pivot quickly as business needs change
  • Capability to work with autonomy and ability to drive projects and timelines to quality product
  • Experience effectively collaborating and influencing across diverse teams which could include internal US and Global stakeholders, and external stakeholders
