Role Summary
The Associate Director, IT Application Management, Patient Services (Patient Services IT Lead) will be responsible for driving and leading digital transformation initiatives related to our Patient Office capabilities. This role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of patient office technology solutions that enhance business processes, improve patient and customer engagement, and drive operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of patient technologies, and a proven track record in the pharmaceutical industry. This position will interface with externally facing functions, primarily the Patient Office, but also Commercial, Marketing, Medical, and Communications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage Servier’s portfolio of Patient Office omnichannel assets and capabilities
- Lead the implementation and management of patient platforms, such as CRM systems, marketing automation tools, and analytics platforms, to optimize engagement campaigns and customer/patient engagement strategies
- Lead new initiatives in collaboration with functional leads, creative agencies, Hub services
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications and actionable plans
- Engage with and manage relationships with technical and vendor teams to delivery quality solutions
- Ensure all Patient Office technology solutions comply with industry regulations, including data privacy and security standards
- Stay current with emerging patient technology trends, evaluating their potential application within the company and pharmaceutical industry
Education and Required Skills
- Proven experience (7+ years) working in a technical, digital role, within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry and/or patient services vendor is a must
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with Salesforce.com Platforms including Health Cloud, MarketingCloud and/or ExperienceCloud a plus
- Experience with Patient Service Hub processes and platforms a plus
- Experience with virtual telephony platforms a plus
Travel and Location
- Located in Boston area, reporting to Seaport office 2-3 days per week
- Limited travel required
