Senior Group Manager – Consumer Health

We are looking for an experienced Consumer Health or FMCG professional who enjoys working in a matrix organization and knows how to lead through influence. As Senior Group Manager – Consumer Health you will play a key role in shaping and delivering brand‑driven strategies across 18 countries.

Based at HQ, you will work at the heart of our Consumer Health organization, coordinating international marketing and business development efforts.  You will have formal people management responsibility in a dotted‑line model, leading a core international team of four senior professionals (International Marketing Managers). Success in this role comes from strong leadership presence, agility, collaboration, and the ability to align diverse stakeholders behind shared goals.

 

As Senior Group Manager – Consumer Health, you will:

  • Lead and align the strategic and operational commercial activities of Egis Consumer Health subsidiaries, primarily through a team of marketing and business development managers
  • Provide functional leadership, guidance, mentoring, prioritization and direction to four international managers, fostering collaboration and high performance
  • Drive international and regional product, market, and competitor analyses to identify growth opportunities
  • Develop and propose commercial strategies and initiatives (including brand marketing, trade marketing, go‑to‑market models, sales concepts, and product development ideas) to support business objectives
  • Lead complex cross‑functional marketing projects, working closely with HQ partner functions and country organizations
  • Review and challenge sales plans, assess their realism, and actively support local implementation.
  • Contribute to shaping the long‑term future of the Consumer Health business through active involvement in business development initiatives

 

You are successful in this role if you bring:

  • Experience in consumer healthcare and/or a strong FMCG background (strategic and operational brand marketing)
  • Team leader experience
  • 5–7+ years of experience in strategic and operational brand management, ideally with international exposure and matrix leadership experience
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking
  • An assertive, proactive, and collaborative leadership style
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • A dynamic, enthusiastic personality with a passion for impact and growth
