Sales Force Manager

Mission Statement

Lead and manage the pharmaceutical sales force in Azerbaijan to achieve revenue targets, expand market penetration, and ensure sustainable business growth while maintaining the highest standards of ethical pharmaceutical practices. Has overall responsibility for the achievement of targets and control of approved budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Lead territory planning and resource allocation optimization
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and identify growth opportunities
  • Drive market penetration and brand positioning initiatives

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 15+ pharmaceutical sales representatives and Regional Manager
  • Responsible for the application of approved promotional strategy for the country while observing corporate ethical standards.
  • Conduct performance management, coaching, and capability development
  • Implement/plan training programs on product knowledge, selling skills, and compliance
  • Foster a high-performance culture focused on results and customer satisfaction

Business Performance

  • Achieve and strive to exceed annual sales targets and KPIs, while focusing on agreed strategies, aligned with corporate guidelines, regulations and performance standards
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and market share data, as well as competitors’ activities and market performance
  • Prepare comprehensive sales reports and forecasts for senior management
  • Manage budget allocation and cost optimization initiatives

Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers (hospitals, clinics, pharmacies), responsible for overseeing company sales /promotional events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory)
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations and ethical standards
  • Represent company at industry conferences and medical symposiums
